A father who was kidnapped, killed during FBI raid

Family members have a lot of questions after Ulises Valladares was kidnapped by two men from a Conroe home and killed by an FBI agent during a raid.
The main question is: How did an FBI agent kill Valladares while rescuing him?

Ulises Valladares’ brother, Ernesto, said his brother didn't have problems with anyone and he was focused his life and on his 12-year-old son.
Jimmy Sanchez, Nicolas Cunningham and Sophia Heath are in jail for their involvement in Ulises’ kidnapping. Cunningham and Sanchez are being held without bond.
Houston police said Sanchez and Cunningham forced their way inside the home on Tyler Lane on Wednesday and tied up Ulises and his son before abducting the Ulises.
Ernesto owed the two men $8,000, according to court documents.
After they kidnapped Ulises, someone called Ernesto and asked for $20,000 for Ulises' safe return, according to court documents.
The FBI got involved and, after arresting Sanchez and Cunningham, they found Ulises at Sophia Heath’s home on Elbert Street in northeast Houston.
Sources told KPRC 2 an agent “accidentally” shot and killed Valladares during the raid.
Ernesto said he is frustrated. He wants answers from the FBI about why his brother died in an operation to rescue him.
Ernesto said Valladares’ wife died from cancer two years ago. He said Valladares’ son, who is now an orphan, is in the custody of Child Protective Services.
Ernesto is working to gain custody of his nephew.
The FBI has yet to explain the botched operation.
