This is info from the Halo: First Strike Book, which is in stores now.

The other Spartans survived! Linda, Kelly, fred, will and others and it is also the sweetest chapter in the book on how they did survive. Yes! Also Dr. Halsley survived and is working on new Mjolnir armor, (which the MC dons in Halo2) also her and Kelly goes on a secret mission which is to say the least awesome!. No word if the others will have visual or even speaking roles in Halo2 but it is nice to know that they survived. {If the book had anything to say about it I almost guarantee that it will have other spartans in halo2) I knew it! It also explains how sarge survived. I\'m almost done with the book sadly It\'s like this one is shorter than the others. Anywho it\'s great how the MS and Co takes out alot of covenant ships as they make thier way to earth. I would have paid more for this book if I had too.

Oh for anyone thats interested Halo: First Strike is available at Walmart and Borders Books right now I seriously advise you get it to know the exploits up to the events of Halo2. it\'s a damn good read and it is very enlightening to know what to expect in Halo 2.

When I\'m finish I\'ll get back to you guys along with a full review. which you can read at your own choice however I highly go against that.
