Nine Teenagers Accidentally Drowned in North Sulawesi, Indonesia

Based on the info I got with the video, eight teenagers drowned in Tondano, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, Indonesia but news reports published the day after the tragic incident reported nine overall casualties. So I’m sticking with the latest figure.
Nine teenagers from Liningaan Village drowned while going for a swim after sunset following a worship on Kawis Beach on Saturday May 25, 2013. All together 12 kids went to frolic in the sea but suddenly a big wave with strong currents swept them off their feet and threw them into the cliffs. Only three survived.
The youngest was only 12 year old, the oldest 18. Two of the victims were boys, seven were girls. Video shows collection of bodies after their recovery from the sea. Being from Indonesia, the video is of notoriously awful quality:
