有效期一个月，超过一个月必须考当地驾照

和租车公司的严格程度有关，你自己说得清楚，一般不需要什么公证也行，自己如果英语讲不清楚，那最好公证了再去

加州记得看到stop标识一定要停下，carpool一定不要独自开过去，罚起来都是几百刀的。

北美都是用雷达抓的，超速这个问题呢。一般随大流就是了。不要显得比别人快太多就ok。

我去公证过一次，就是翻译+一个章，完完全全坑爹，到了美国开车屁用没有。不过开亲戚车最好当心点，他的保险不一定cover其他驾车人，问问清楚比较好。最好的办法还是租车，哪怕万一出点小问题你也屁责任没有

这位兄弟说得对，租车没问题，但碰到事情就有问题了，因为驾照名字没有拼音，无法和护照对上（老外不会去对中文字的），所以要花这么多钱办公证，我在德国借车子人家也是这么说的。
