Australia: (Update) Qantas airline has announced the continued temporary grounding of its entire Airbus A380 fleet for at least 72 more hours. The fleet was temporarily grounded for a full technical review of the engines after an Airbus in the fleet transporting passengers from Singapore to Sydney, was forced to make an emergency landing at Singapore's Changi Airport following engine failure on 4 November. The most recent grounding follows the discovery of an oil leak in the engines of three of the fleet's planes. Qantas have made alternate arrangements to accommodate all passengers scheduled to fly on the A380; however travel delays and disruptions should be expected. Travellers planning to travel with Qantas are advised to contact the airline or their departure airport directly for further information.
