刚看neogaf的帖子，想知道他这"where"是什么用法。他想表达的意思应该是在前期就能打最终BOSS的游戏，为啥不用what或which。 祭扫伺候。

Games where you can fight the final boss early

I'm trying to find more examples of this. Mega Man X5 is what I got; you can fight the final boss at any time, without progressing through the game.

So the whole game has you gathering parts for a space shuttle and/or a giant cannon to destroy a space colony on a collision course with earth. These parts are given to you from fallen bosses. BUT you can launch the shuttle/cannon at anytime without the proper parts thereby initiating the final events of the game. You can literally fight the final boss a good fifteen, twenty minutes later.

Of course you're going at it underpowered -- point is, you can beat the game in no time at all.

不能用what

Which也可以用 what不行

看了下是不能用what，主要想知道为什么用where。

因为 you can fight the final boss early in the game
相当于地点吧，可以这么理解

you can fight the final boss early
你用what的话，算 什么成分

用where是强调那个boss的地点,并不是boss本身

其实你看全文的意思就好理解了，他的意思是你可以在某些进程点打boss，强调的是位置

我开始也是这么想，不过看回帖大多数说个游戏就完事了，没有深入描述。可能我想多了，祭扫奉上。

随便用，不必在意

这里的where跟boss没关系，只跟game有关系
完全可以换其他的，比如Games where you can fuck dogs

他的where是对progressing说的，这个游戏进程中的某个位置
