The idea of making contributes to the chess business has always been on my mind, since my first chess game back at third grade in primary school.

since my first time to play chinese chess in grade 3 in primary school, i was committed myself to contribute to the promotion of the chinese chess overseas.

I begun playing Chinese Chess when I was in Year Three of my primary school. Since then, I started to wish I could make contributions to enhancing/promoting the popularity of Chinese Chess overseas.

貌似楼主已经给出部分短语了，这句子显然是某些非英语专业的英语作业吧

前半段尚可，后半段稍显繁复

I became a Chinese chess player since I was 9 years old, by which way I hoped to help make this game more popular all over the world.

好的English不需要生僻的单词和繁复的句式
