到底是镜子里比实际近还是实际的比镜子里近？

字面理解应该是比实际的近。

镜子的映像比实际的距离近

瓶子开的是美国车？这种东西好像美国车上写的比较多一些。

镜子里看起来比实际更近一些

为了提醒驾驶者注意保持车距的吧，人眼从后视镜看身后的车辆视觉上认为身后的车比较远，实际上的距离是车屁股开始到身后车辆的车头的吧

正确是：镜子里的物件看起来要远一些。也就是说你在镜子里看到后面的车感觉有8米，其实真实距离是5米（举例而已，随便说的数据）。

逻辑上推断，应该是提醒你，实物其实是比较近的，没有反光镜里显示的那么远。你应该更加注意
“镜中所反射的实物比它在镜中显示的近” ( real) objects in mirror are closer than they appear (in mirror)

The warning is used because passenger side mirrors must be convex to have a useful field of view. This makes objects smaller than they would appear if the driver viewed them in a flat mirror, or turned and looked at them directly. Since smaller objects appear farther away, the objects seen in the mirror look further away than they really are. If the driver does not consider this, they might make a maneuver (such as a lane change) assuming another vehicle was a safe distance behind, when in fact it was quite a bit closer. The warning is there to remind the driver of this potential problem.

关键理解APPEAR这个词，它还有“似乎、好像”的意思，如果原句是 than they exist 意思就完全不一样了:D :D :D

直接翻译好像是：偶不是茄子 阴 米罗啊 卡洛斯恶 赞 谁 啊屁儿。

物体的实际距离比在镜子里表现的距离近。

实际物体比他们在影子里面的映像要近

也就是说在镜子里面看到的会比实际物体远。

有车的对比下倒车镜和后视镜就知道了

LZ不是挺好钻研的么，用光学知识分析一下不就知道了

汉语“镜中的物体”意指“物体在镜中的镜像”，但英语“objects in mirror”意指物体本身，in mirror只是定语作限制条件。
这个差异可能是造成理解偏差的原因。

误解个屁，意思是说，那些镜子里的物体实际上比它们（在镜子里）看上去离你更近。

镜中是没有实际的物体的，镜中只是实物的影像，所以“镜中的物体”本身就是一个不严谨的概念。
